All proceeds benefit the 2025 INTERNATIONAL SUMMER JAZZ ACADEMY in Krakow, Poland in July. Also a silent auction with music, books, theater tickets, and other items available. We hope to see you there!
The concert features an ensemble of St. Louis musicians with years of experience performing together in various settings via the commonality of the Webster University Department of Music and the International Summer Jazz Academy in Kraków, Poland. These artists maintain highly active careers regionally and beyond as teachers, performers in various settings, arrangers, composers, and music industry specialists.

The INTERNATIONAL SUMMER JAZZ ACADEMY (ISJA) celebrates the 31st year of its founding in 1994 this July in Kraków, Poland with 100+ students from across Europe
expected to attend. Since 1994, the ISJA has hosted instructors from the United States, Poland, and other nations, teaching over 2,500 students from across Europe and the
United States in the art of jazz, culminating in gala public concerts. Prominent ISJA alumni include Dominik Wania, ECM pianist/composer, Pawel Kaczmarczyk, ACT pianist/composer, Tomasz Kudyk, trumpet/band leader/educator, Leszek Novotarski, woodwind artist/educator, Piotr Damasiewicz, trumpet/band leader/composer, Dawid Rudnicki, pianist/theater composer, Marcin Masecki, pianist and film composer, Przemek Jarosz, drums/studio engineer, Agata Pisko, Graz vocalist/educator, Maciej Fortuna, trumpet, and Maciej Łakomy, trombone, professors, Paderewski Academy of Music, Poznan, Andrzej Danek, vocal artist, Warsaw & New York, Mark Tokar, Ukrainian bassist/composer; and DAGADANA, Poland-Ukraine vocal group.
The ISJA was founded by Dr. Isidore Rudnick, Coordinator of Fine Arts for the Cincinnati Public Schools. Mike Parkinson was an original ISJA instructor and Artistic Director from 1995-2005; Willem von Hombracht also served as a faculty member and then as Artistic Director from 2008-2015. Since 2021 they have returned as guest professors upon invitation from Grzegorz Motyka,
