On Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, Polish Senate Marshall (upper house of the Polish Parliament) Prof. dr Tomasz Grodzki begins a four-day visit to the United States, where he will meet with the leaders of Polish diaspora organizations. Mr. Grodzki will be accompanied by Senator Władysław Komarnicki (KO).   

The Polish Senate delegation will take part in the ceremony of the 75th anniversary of Polish American War Veterans in Caseyville IL (see link)  During the ceremony he will award the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta to the oppositionist Grzegorz Kołtuniak, who in the 1980s was engaged in antis-communist activities in Poland. 

On Sunday, Oct 3, 2021, Mr. Grodzki will meet with Piotr Brukasz, president of the Polish Medical Association in Chicago, and then with leaders of Polish organizations in Missouri and Illinois.  On Monday, he will meet with the Mayor of St. Louis Tishaura O. Jones.
