“Unzere Kindern”  is a film directed by Natan Gross and Shaul Goskind.  This unusual film, one of the two Yiddish films made in Poland after the World War II, features well known Polish comedy duo Dzigen and Szumacher, performing Sholom Aleichem stories to entertain Jewish children in an orphanage in post-war Łódź. The orphans attempt to communicate to their adult visitors the reality of what they actually experienced during the war years.

Our very own Felicja Wertz – is featured in this movie.   As a child, Felicja was one of the children included in this film.   Felicja will also provide introductory remarks about the story behind the film. You do not want to miss this event.  Additional information about the screening:    http://www.hmlc.org/
