Celebrate Polish American Horitage

Back by popular demand! 2nd Annual Celebration of Summer Solstice in Warson Woods Park.

Whether you think of it as the start of summer, the longest day of the year or an excuse to dance, eat and celebrate; perhaps around bonfires or at Royal Oaks Park /  Dreher Park in Warson Woods… the summer solstice is a celebration of the season. Sure, it marks the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but it’s also steeped in wonderful tradition and cultural significance throughout the world.  The summer solstice is celebrated in a variety of ways across the globe.

Celebrate with us on June 18 by enjoying traditional Polish sausage, sauerkraut, homemade crepes and piwo! Bring your friends and family with picnic blankets and chairs! We have games for children, wreath making and music! Make the most of the longest day of the year!
