Music is often described as the international language, a common thread among all humanity regardless of race, nationality, or creed. An outstanding example of this bond is the International Summer Jazz Academy (ISJA) which takes place annually in Krakow, Poland. The University of Missouri – St. Louis, Department of Art and Design is very happy to announce a new Gallery 210 exhibition at the Fine Arts Building. Visual Storytellers showcases the work of 6 contemporary illustrators; Kat Bourek, Ewa Budka, Jazz Szu-Ying Chen, David Gorden, Catherine Hu, and Emma Vidal. This group represents local, national, and international practitioners, working in a diverse range of illustrative methods and contexts. The iconic St Louis area show has been hosted by Mr. Anthony Kaminski since 1994. For many years it was the most widely listened-to ethnic radio program in the St. Louis area.
