Music is often described as the international language, a common thread among all humanity regardless of race, nationality, or creed. An outstanding example of this bond is the International Summer Jazz Academy (ISJA) which takes place annually in Krakow, Poland. Last year, Saint Louis Polonia Inc. partnered with ISJA to raise funds for the expenses of the American faculty members participating in the project. Ewa Budka’s Art featured at UMSL Visual Storytellers Showcase Features
The University of Missouri – St. Louis, Department of Art and Design is very happy to announce a new Gallery 210 exhibition at the Fine Arts Building. Visual Storytellers showcases the work of 6 contemporary illustrators; Kat Bourek, Ewa Budka, Jazz Szu-Ying Chen, David Gorden, Catherine Hu, and Emma Vidal. This group represents local, national, and international practitioners, working in a diverse range of illustrative methods and contexts.
